Hedgehogs are Elegant
My friend Margo and I took a road trip to Fayetteville, Arkansas and stumbled upon Nightbird Books, a locally-owned book store.  I picked up this book, “The Elegance of the Hedgehog” by Muriel Barbery. The clerk, a young baubled lady who may have been the owner or manager, noticed me reading the dust jacket and skimming the pages. “Oooh, that’s a fantastic book!”...

My cats tried to blow up my parents' house
We came back from the Verizon store to discover that Cheddar and Tofu, partners in crime, had somehow turned on the gas stove.  The house reeked of natural gas. Suicide pact or attempted murder?  What do you think?
